Definition of Real Estate Consulting

Real estate consulting services are defined in the “Report of the Real Estate Consulting System Review Committee,” compiled in September 1999, as follows: “Based on a contract with the client, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills in real estate, and operating from a fair and objective standpoint, it involves planning, coordinating, and proposing activities related to the use, acquisition, disposal, management, business operation, and investment in real estate. This is done through investigation and analysis of real estate properties, markets, and related aspects, with the aim of enabling the client to make the best choices and decisions.”
